Navarrete Nighthawks!I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Dawn Koberstein and I am truly delighted as well as honored to be joining the Navarrete faculty as Dean of Students. I am looking forward to building lasting relationships with the students, staff and families! Most recently, before coming to Navarrete, I worked the past two years as the part-time Dean of Students at Jane Dee Hull Elementary and Teacher on Assignment for the District as my "other hat." Prior to that, I had the amazing opportunity working as the Math Facilitator at Frye Elementary School in Chandler for four years. I have a love for math/STEM and look forward to sharing this "I LOVE MATH!" attitude with the Nighthawk community. I've taught or worked with all grade levels pre-school through grade six. As a member of the Navarrete staff, you can expect me to be committed, enthusiastic and compassionate. I have an open door philosophy and look forward to knowing each and every Navarrete family. I see my role as an advocate for students to ensure that they feel safe and are safe while at school as they learn and grow academically, emotionally and socially. I take this responsibility very seriously as character counts, no matter what! I look forward to working with the staff here at Navarrete and meeting all the students and familes. When you are on campus next, please take a moment to stop by, say "HELLO" and introduce yourself! Yours in education, Dawn Koberstein
