About our Principal

            James R. Estes has been an educator for the past 36 years, first as a teacher and then as a principal. His first assignment was working in a special musical arts program in the Pendergast Elementary School District in West Phoenix. After several years, he decided to move to the East Valley and began teaching as a music teacher at Four Peaks Elementary School in Apache Junction School District. He eventually became the principal at Four Peaks. In 1988, Mr. Estes was hired by Chandler Unified School District as the principal of Galveston Elementary. Ten years later, he was asked to open Rudy G. Bologna. As the principal of RGB, Mr. Estes has put together a multi-talented staff to truly meet the needs of the student body. Always eager to form positive bonds with parents and community members, Mr. Estes welcomes comments, suggestions and questions. You can always find Mr. Estes at the front of our campus when students arrive and depart. Please feel free to stop by and say "Hi!"
